Ambassadors Needed

RecessionThe current economic crisis has affected everyone. Most people have severely cut back on spending and charitable giving. Unfortunately charitable giving is the only means most non-profit organizations have of obtaining funding for their operations. These institutions are finding it more and more difficult to cover the monthly bills and salaries. The drop in charitable giving has put many of these non-profit organizations at risk of bankruptcy and closure. The Patterson School is no less vulnerable than any other.

September 2009 will mark the 100th anniversary of The Patterson School. However, what should be a joyous Centennial Celebration may instead mark a tragedy. The school faces the most severe financial crisis in its one hundred year history and may face permanent closure unless the school can obtain the funds to continue operations.

Now more than ever it is critical that every alumni and every friend of the school sit up and take notice. Even if you are not able to help financially, there is still much that you can do. We have initiated several simultaneous fundraising campaigns to keep the school solvent during this economic crisis and we need every alumni and every friend of the school to become Patterson School Ambassadors at Large.
